Biodynamic wines are wines that are made following the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
Biodynamic refers to both the agricultural methods and the handling and processing of the fruit
Organic wines are made from grapes that are grown in accordance with the principles of organic farming, which
(in our book)
excludes the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides.
Sustainable wines are made from grapes that
are grown with sustainable winegrowing practices that protect the soil, air and water, all of which are elements that breathe
life and flavour into
the grapes and wines.
Natural wines are made in small quantities by small independent producers who are focused on low yields, hand harvesting and organic growing practices with no manmade additives or artificial processes.
